        Monet - "Spring"

Videoconferencing continues to span out to all areas of society. In areas such as art, video is being used in new creative ways to connect endpoints throughout the world. The world of Fine Arts is participating through various programs which allow schools, colleges, and universities to take virtual tours and do it interactively. Students and teachers agree that without this new technology they would never have viewed the sites or had questions answered correctly. When combined with bridging, campus as well as whole school districts can be a part of the call.

Artists are also using videoconferencing but in a different way. When drawing, painting, sculpting etc, in ability to show works in progress to others can be useful. When equipped with teleconferencing equipment a sculptor was able to share work in progress as well as use T.120 data sharing to share markup drawings. He went on to state " through the use of videoconferencing, I  improved the overall product and in less time " .
