Before making a decision to purchase videoconferencing equipment for one location or throughout the entire company, leasing should be investigated as an option. By using leasing, the ever changing technology world can grow with you being a part of it. Under most leasing terms after a certain time period the equipment under lease can either be purchased outright or turned it for brand new technology. This method is a very effective way of not becoming outdated with equipment.

Other advantages to leasing are that the equipment is fully covered under a service plan. Depending on which type of service plan was built into the lease, you may be covered with such options as software updates, on-site repair or next day parts. So what would be the downside of leasing? Well the most common problem with leasing is user training. New equipment and technology is great but be aware of the additional training and time needed.
