The Marketing arena has used videoconferencing in some of the traditional ways as well as now new methods we will discuss. Most large agency's today will have the ability to conference with a client via this technology but it is now moving more than ever to larger groups and individuals. Users now can present or telecommute from almost anywhere, via the internet or video room locations around the globe. International marketing as well is growing leaps and bounds and services to link multiple countries all together for meetings is becoming commonplace. Peripherals add to the conference experience by bringing in laptops and multimedia presentations. Now that we have the terms down let's examine the application. Bringing in superstar athletes, actors and celebrities to openings and events can be a showstopper! These types of events can be staged anywhere connectivity is from major hotels to arenas. CEO's and senior VP's can dial into these events for live speeches or to just see how the event is running . Also the presenters can hit many locations within minutes via video to add this type of media to any event simultaneously.. Streaming marketing is becoming more popular. This type of technology is used not interactively but to push content to all locations at once. Electronic billboards even retail store screens can have content pushed from corporate at any time and run immediately .
